Death Goddess

Morirest, Goddess of Death, The Queen of Crows, The Avatar of Shadows and Fate (threw in some alternate colors at the end)

It's been a while since I made any new deities to the pantheon within my fantasy setting, and I felt like making one that represents death is all too important in world-building.

Morirest is heavily inspired by the Morrígan of Celtic and Irish folklore. There are sprinklings of other Celtic and Slavic mythological figures, but the Morrígan was the primary influence.

I have always loved drawing from folklore, mythology, and history to make fictional settings or characters. Especially when it comes from my own Celtic heritage.
